Hiking

The Wildseeloder mountain with its distinctive peak, fabulous panoramic views and the seemingly mystic Wildseeloder Lake form an impressive backdrop. You may not be literally above the clouds here, but the sense of freedom under the summit cross of the Wildseeloder mountain is truly limitless, as are the possible ways of exploring nature on the “Loder”.

Note: Due to the new construction of the Streubödenbahn, there will be no lift operation at Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn in summer 2024. The hiking trails and huts on the mountain are still open. Construction site-related detours will be signposted. 

• The Wildseeloder area can be reached from the valley station via Timoks Wilde Welt (Streuböden) and Wildalpgatterl
• To shorten the ascent, a shuttle service is offered from the valley station to the middle station in the main season.
• Tip 1 Bike & Hike: by bike via Timoks Wilde Welt to the Wildalmen and onwards by hike to the Wildseeloder
• Tip 2 Bike & Hike: by bike via Hörndlinger Graben in the direction of Reckmoos - from there hike to Wildseeloder

As well as the hike to the Wildseeloder Lake, at the mount-all-round there are a number of other lovely hiking paths. Nature lovers prefering to take things a bit more leisurely might prefer to stay on the banks of the Wildseeloder Lake or on the terrace of the Wildseeloder Alpine hut, enjoying the view and some tasty refreshment.  The more active hikers like to take the path further to one of the surrounding peaks. Whatever path you take into nature, there is plenty of hiking on the mountain to suit all tastes.
