Ticket Alliance ALPIN CARD

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SKI ALPIN CARD

I. General and scope of services

The Ski ALPIN CARD is a product of the participating lift and cableway companies listed on the website www.alpincard.at for the regions specified there (“the Regions”). The Ski ALPIN CARD is a ski pass that entitles the holder to use the facilities in operation on the respective day for 15 days, no earlier than 11 October 2025 and no later than 03 May 2026. The members of the Ski ALPIN CARD, however, voluntarily declare—until revoked—that they will also allow authorised Ski ALPIN CARD holders to use the facilities beyond these 15 days. Ski ALPIN CARD day and multi-day ski passes (collectively, “the Ski ALPIN CARD”) may be purchased online via the websites of the participating lift and cableway companies or at their ticket offices during opening hours. These General Terms and Conditions apply in all cases. The contractual partners of the customer in connection with the purchase of the Ski ALPIN CARD are the respective participating lift and cableway companies.

The Ski ALPIN CARD entitles the customer, depending on the product purchased, to use the facilities and ski runs operated by the participating cableway and lift companies to the respective extent during operating and opening hours. Excluded are special trips outside regular operating hours and (where organised by the participating companies) local ski buses.
Each cableway and lift company operates its facilities and ski runs independently and under its own responsibility.

II. Contract Formation

[1.] Placing an online order via the websites of the participating lift and cableway companies requires the complete and correct entry of all mandatory fields and the explicit acceptance of these GTC by clicking the relevant confirmation button. Incorrect information may lead to withdrawal of entitlement without compensation and exclusion from transport.

Ski ALPIN CARD season passes and Ski ALPIN CARD ski passes from 8 to 31 days can only be booked with a current photograph.
The customer is obliged to immediately notify any changes to contact details (name, address, email address).

Entering the data and clicking the button “order with obligation to pay” constitutes a legally binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the Ski ALPIN CARD. Acceptance of this offer is expressly reserved. There is no obligation to accept the offer. The customer will receive an email confirming acceptance of the offer within 10 days at the latest.

These provisions also apply to purchases made at ticket offices, with the proviso that consumers within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) have a right of withdrawal for online purchases. The withdrawal information and form are linked on the websites of the participating companies.

[2.] The services included in the ALPIN CARD may be used after receipt of the data carrier during the applicable period of use and after the participating lift and cableway facilities have been put into operation.

III. Prices and Payment

[1.] The Ski ALPIN CARD is sold at the prices listed on www.alpincard.at
or in the price lists, notices and brochures available at the participating companies (“Tariff Notices”). A refundable KeyCard deposit is charged; its amount is stated in the Tariff Notices. All prices and deposits include statutory VAT.

Payment may be made by credit card (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club), advance bank transfer, or cash at ticket offices.

[2.] In the event of loss or damage of a Ski ALPIN CARD, a replacement can be issued for a processing fee of EUR 15 (plus KeyCard deposit). A blocking confirmation and official photo ID are required.

IV. Shipping

For online orders with postal delivery, the Ski ALPIN CARD is normally dispatched within two days after acceptance of the order. No responsibility is taken for postal delivery times. Delivery usually takes at least three working days after dispatch.

V. Use of Services

If the Ski ALPIN CARD partner companies are generally ready to perform—meaning that at least some lifts are operating and ski runs can be used due to snow conditions—no right of withdrawal exists, in particular not in cases of bad weather, avalanche risk, early departure, temporary shutdowns, weather-related closures of certain lifts or ski areas, closure of certain runs, overcrowding, or illness of the ticket holder.

There is therefore no entitlement to a refund in such cases.
If fewer than 15 days are used, no refund is due.

Official pandemic regulations (e.g. COVID-19) apply. No refund shall be granted if services are available but the customer does not use them for personal reasons or due to failure to meet official requirements (e.g. tests, vaccination certificates).

VI. Liability

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Claims for slight negligence are excluded. Claims must be asserted against the respective responsible lift company.

No guarantee is given that all lifts will always be operational. Temporary shutdowns due to weather, technical issues or force majeure do not entitle the customer to any reduction or refund.

VII. Refund in Case of Official Closures

If all facilities in all regions are closed for at least four weeks due to official orders (e.g. pandemic or energy regulations), refunds are granted as follows:

  • Day & multi-day passes: Refund based on actual use.
  • ALPIN CARD: Refund calculated as purchase price ÷ 15 × unused days.

No refund if all 15 days have already been used.

Claims can be made after the season ends at the selling company.

VIII. Injuries and Illness

No refund is granted in the event of injury or illness. However, a goodwill refund (except for 1-day passes) may be granted upon presentation of a local doctor’s certificate.

IX. Misuse

The Ski ALPIN CARD is non-transferable. Misuse results in confiscation without compensation, plus payment of a day ticket and a EUR 70 penalty.

X. Data Protection

Personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR and DSG. Reference is made to the privacy policies of the participating companies.

XI. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies.
For consumers, jurisdiction is their place of residence or Salzburg.
For all others, Salzburg is agreed.

XII. Piste & Rescue Services

Mountain rescue and medical costs are charged separately. Rescue services cover only marked and open pistes and bike trails.
