Via ferrata Marokka

This fantastic sports via ferrata offers a secure route to the beautiful summit of the Marokka.

Starting from the Streuböden valley station (Lindau 17, 6391 Fieberbrun), you reach the Streuboden mid-station* via the following routes:

• 8 via Ferchlstadl (approx. 1h)
• 1+711 Brendt (approx. 1.5 h)
• 1+711+7 Zillstatt (approx. 1.5 h)
• 1+Schweinestberg (approx. 1h / only in summer 2024)

Continue on path no. 12 ("Jägersteig"), past the Lärchfilzhochalm, the Grießenbodenalm to the Wildalmen. From there take path no. 2 to the Wildseeloderhaus. Starting at the Lärchfilzkogel top lift station, the route 2 takes you to the Wildalmen and just underneath the Wildseeloderhaus, a path no. 21 leads east to the start of the via ferrata at the foot of the Marokka (walking time 4h 30min). The tour is Alpine in character and provides everything via ferrata fans could wish for: an exciting, interesting choice of route, uninterrupted views down into the depths below, demanding sections, a swaying rope bridge and a beautiful peak to finish with.

If you are in the mood for even more via ferrata, you can join the route to the via ferrata "Himmel und Henne" (difficulty level A). From the summit of Marokka, head towards the Henne, then branch off on the half-way point to the east following path-no. 22 (Gamssteig). At the end of the path, follow the sign no. 18 in the direction of the mountain station Reckmoos Nord. There is the entry of the via ferrata "Himmel und Henne" No. 19.
