Wildalm Käseladen
The Wildalm Cheese Shop is located at 1,579 meters at the foot of the Wildseeloder and offers a truly unique experience. The finest mountain cheese is made on-site from Wildalm milk and aged for 12 months in an 18th-century natural cellar. The byproduct of cheese production, whey, is combined with mountain herbs and oils to create Wildalpgold natural cosmetics, such as nourishing creams and lotions.
Art also has its place at the Wildalm—a small gallery showcases contemporary art, and a tiny alpine cinema screens nostalgic films. Additionally, the hut houses an antiquarian bookshop with thousands of old books. You can browse through them by the cozy fireplace and purchase them if you like.
The Wildalm is also available for rent for parties and celebrations!
