INNOVATIONS

Summer 2026 & Winter 2026/27

The mountain adventure offerings in Fieberbrunn will be further improved and expanded for the upcoming summer season. Below is an overview of all the new features. Our colleagues in Hinterglemm are also using the summer months to build anew Reiterkogel lift. Starting this coming winter, this lift will be extended and will reach the summit via an intermediate station!

Wooden Marble Tracks

Starting on Pentecost, the wooden marbles will be rolling in Fieberbrunn! There will be a total of 4 new wooden marble tracks at the valley and mid-station. At the mid-station, the tracks serve as an extension of the existing Explorer Path. Themed around our mascot Timok, the challenge is speed as you follow the ball down the mountain, over curves, jumps, and many other clever features. This will make hiking a fun adventure for kids too!

At the top station, the Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn will also be installing new elements by early July, such as a wooden photo frame with a view of the Wildseeloder, another wooden ball track, balancing stations, and a panoramic swing. Thematically, these elements will be based on the Freeride World Tour and the mountain landscape surrounding the Wildseeloder.

Skill Area

Starting at the beginning of the season, various bike skills elements - such as rollers, banked turns, and seesaws - will be available at the Obingleitn lift and Streuböden lift base stations, allowing riders to specifically improve their riding technique and bike handling skills. The Skill Area will be free to use!

Extension of the Iglmoos Trail

The existing Iglmoos Trail in Fieberbrunn is being extended from 0.8 km to 1.8 km, offering even more trail fun for ambitious mountain bikers starting in August. Built on moderately difficult terrain, the extension connects to the current end of the Iglmoos Trail halfway up the Schweinestberg and leads down into the valley. This means that, halfway up the Schweinestberg, there will also be easy opportunities to cross over to or combine with the Schweinestberg Line in the future.

BIKE & HIKE Xpress

From 11.07.-30.08.2026, the new “Bike & Hike Xpress” will connect the Fieberbrunn and Leogang mountain railways for the first time during the summer season! This fast and comfortable Xpress bus service offers guests and locals a flexible way to conveniently combine both regions and their cable cars offerings.

COMING WINTER: UP TO THE PEAK

With the construction of the new D1 REITERKOGEL lift in Hinterglemm, a significant increase in comfort and quality is expected this coming winter. The existing lift, built in 1997, will be replaced by a modern 10-seater monocable gondola lift – identical in construction to the 12er KOGEL lift.

A special highlight is the new second section, which will enable direct travel to the summit in future. With a capacity of up to 2,500 people per hour, fast and comfortable transport to the mountain is guaranteed.
The Reiterkogel is a real family mountain in both summer and winter: clearly laid out, varied and with a wide range of activities for young and old.
