Beautiful, traditional farm with non-smoker rooms in the Tyrolean style. Breakfast includes home-made products such as home-baked bread, homemade butter, cheese and jam, as well as regional bio eggs. For "self-catering" there is a cosy, fully equipped kitchen with fridge and coffee machine. Our farm offers an unforgettable family experience with plenty of space for playing with trampoline, a large playground, a great tree house as well as a children's grill station at the house. The little ones have also the possibility to help with the stable work (on request!). Enjoy the sunrise on the Steinplatte in the alpine hut of family Zelger with a homemade breakfast or a traditional snack (on request!). For our little guests, there is large playground provided. The cross-country track, the jacobs way and ski bus-stop is nearby the farm house.
For our guests we also offer the unique opportunity to accompany Maria and/or Stefan during the hunt on the "Durchkaser" (on request).Therefore we offer a seperate lovely hunting room, where every hunter finds a wonderful sleep. on the "Durchkaser" (on request).
Host information
Our farm was built in 1737 and has been continuously operated in agriculture for generations. In the early 1950s, my grandparents (Waltraud and Valentin Zelger) started renting out "guest rooms," which is still run today with great dedication. In the past 35 years, Maria and Stephan Zelger (my parents) have continued the Ambachhof in private room rentals and also in agriculture. The two built a proper "area" (as our grandmother always likes to say), a little treasure chest, so to speak, that has been "meticulously arranged" from back to front. Since 2026, I, Kathrin Trixl, have been the landlord, a farmer, and a mother of three charming boys, together with my partner Hannes, taking on the task of managing this operation and ensuring our guests' vacation with the same passion that was shown to me! I am delighted to take on this task!
