Your daily routine
The lift staff starts the working day at 7.15 am. The employees are assigned to specific lift stations. The following tasks, among others, have to be performed: Operational readiness of the lift, cleanliness check of the lift equipment, snow clearance & test run of the lift. During the opening hours of the lift, the main task is to monitor the operation and, if necessary, to help the guests to get on and off the lift. After the end of operation, the gondolas and chairs are parked again. Employment as a lift attendant is usually on a 4-2 cycle. This means 4 days working, 2 days off, 4 days working etc. When working on the lift, you not only get to deal with guests but also experience the fascination of cable car technology at first hand.
