Freeride World Tour
Also in winter 2020/21 the Freeride Word Tour (FWT) stops in Fieberbrunn. The Freeride Mecca of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is the only stop on the tour in the German-speaking region. The world's best freeriders will take a close look on the backcountry around the legendary Wildseeloder - a compulsory appointment not only for diehard freeride fans. It's do or die in Fieberbrunn - the penultimate stop of the tour. Riders commit it all to qualify for the final in Verbier.
The world's best freeriders have to ascend around 40 minutes to the summit of the Wildseelder, before they fall from the start on 2,118 meters into the 620-vertical drop. There they are able to overcome a slope of up to 70 degrees.
